The Journey

My journey started almost 25 years back, when the world started looking more beautiful, meaningful and soul stirring through the lens. Inspired by the genius of masters like Sir Attenborough, and Rakesh Sahai (my Guru), I realized the Earth's magnificence is often bigger than our imagination. My photography is a small step in that tradition. The camera transformed my life. People, nature, cultures, history all started looking exceptional, unique and out of the norm. What begins as an interest in one subject quickly becomes an insatiable pull. That’s what happens to a photographer, that’s what happened to me. Light commands attention, colours delight, and the human spirit is always alluring. Life around me became hypnotic. A photographer's life experiences, emotional state, and evolving philosophical views naturally alter in what they feel compelled to capture. The shift often mirrors a personal journey. Having travelled extensively, the panorama unfolds beyond expectation. The challenges are confronted, the obstacles are manifold, but the pull is stronger. From the towering Himalayas to the density of tropical forests. Whether documenting the thrills of wildlife, enduring long treks for a perfect sunrise, capturing life on a city street or the intricate details of ancient monuments, the quest never ends. Photography is more than an art or a passion; it is powerful storytelling. It is the ability to turn a moment into enduring prominence.
